BOARD & TRAIN

Our Board & Train programs are a home-based, immersive training experience where your dog lives and learns in a structured environment—not a facility. This allows for consistent, real-life training in a low-stress setting, with results that transition smoothly back into your home.

During the program, your dog lives with us and receives daily, hands-on training in real-life environments. Each day includes structured training sessions, play and exercise, mental enrichment, field trips, and scheduled rest to support learning and confidence. Progress updates are provided throughout your dog’s stay so you can follow along every step of the way.

Your dog’s training continues beyond the stay with built-in transition support. Each program includes either a Go-home session or Follow-Up Sessions to ensure you feel confident maintaining results at home. We build the foundation—long-term success is maintained through consistency and continued follow-through at home.

Board & Train graduates also have access to boarding once their program is completed. Boarding is intended for safe care while you are away, with structure and consistency maintained through their training foundation. . Click here to learn more.

To maintain a high level of individualized attention and care, Board & Train programs are offered in limited availability. Dogs must be crate trained and able to remain calm and settled in a crate to qualify.

Frequently Asked Questions

A Board & Train is an immersive training experience where your dog lives with a professional trainer and receives structured, daily training to build skills, confidence, and better habits.

Your dog stays in our home for the full duration of the program and receives personalized, one-on-one training every day. We focus on your specific goals and keep consistency at the center of everything we do.

This depends on your dog’s training goals and concerns. Any required evaluation will be determined after the free training assessment, and a prior meet-up can also be organized upon request.

Program length varies based on your dog’s needs, but most stays range from 2–4 weeks. We’ll recommend the best duration during your assessment and/or evaluation.

Crate training is a key part of our program structure, helping dogs learn how to settle, regulate arousal, and build calm, balanced behavior. It provides safe, structured downtime between training sessions and supports consistency, recovery, and long-term success.

A typical day includes structured training sessions, real-world practice, and balanced rest periods.

Yes—your dog will learn with us, but long-term success depends on your consistency. You’ll receive guidance on how to maintain the training at home.

No trainer can guarantee perfect behaviour, but we guarantee professional, consistent training and clear guidance for maintaining results. Your follow-through is key.

Depending on your dog’s needs, we may recommend training tools that support clear communication and safety, such as a slip lead, prong collar, or e-collar. All tools are introduced and used responsibly as part of a structured training process. Depending on the training program and obedience goals, tools will be included if needed.
